Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Assistant Manager (Retail) to join our team Wednesday to Sunday.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with retail experience who enjoys providing outstanding customer service within a busy and vibrant tourism retail environment. This role involves supporting the store's daily operations, driving sales, supporting our sales team and providing excellent customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, reliable with a strong customer focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the day to day operation of the shop
- Delivering excellent customer service by creating a friendly and welcoming shopping experience
- Merchandising displays and maintaining store stock levels by placing orders to meet demand
- Ensuring the shop is well-stocked, clean and well-presented at all times
- Accountability for maintaining accuracy in till procedures and cash handling policies
Requirements
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Customer focused attitiude
- Flexibility and reliability
Seasonal hours vary 9am to 6pm Summer season and 10am to 4pm during winter
