Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Seasonal Housekeepers to join our hospitality team throughout our busier months up until the end of September. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our guest accommodation facilities. The successful candidates will contribute to providing an exceptional experience for our guests through meticulous cleaning and organisation. Prior experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly desirable, though full training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the hospitality industry during peak seasons.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Maintain organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linen and towels
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and organised throughout shifts
Experience
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work during peak seasons with varying shifts as required
