Working Hours
Part-time, 3 days per week. The designated working days are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
Job Overview
We are currently looking for a part time Warehouse Operative to help support the daily operations of our warehouse in Maidenhead.
Reporting to the General Manager you will have the responsibility of ensuring the efficient day to day operation of our warehouse.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative who is looking to join a growing business and thrives on working in fast paced environments.
The primary role of the Warehouse Assistant is to control the flow of stock through a warehouse, monitoring goods in and out, safely, and efficiently moving, handling items, and keeping accurate stock records.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Picking and loading daily deliveries
· Overseeing customer orders and helping to make sure orders go out in a good time frame
· Dealing with returns to suppliers
· Working with the Management and Sales Staff to keep stock at optimum levels
· The ability to work in the warehouse by themselves without constant supervision
· Ready to jump in, learn and become part of the business
· Able to lift and move boxes with ease
· Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
· Ensuring that all stock is correctly labelled
· Supporting other warehouse staff
· General housekeeping duties
· Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
Qualifications and Attributes
· Have good customer service skills
· Have good verbal communication skills
· Ability to take instructions and work under minimal supervision
· Ability to work well under pressure
· Be thorough and pay attention to detail
· Flexible
· Be organized in prioritizing workload effectively
· Ability to work on own initiative and work as part of a team
