Learning Support Assistant / Midday Meals Supervisor
Start date: September 2026
Temporary initially with the potential for permanent
Hours:
Learning Support Assistant G3 (£14,800-£15,050 p.a.), 26hrs 15 mins per week (8:15am – 3:15pm)
Midday Meals Supervisor G2 (£2,770-£2,820 p.a.), 5hrs per week
We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible person to join our friendly, welcoming junior school. We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant who can provide support for children in class and work with vulnerable children and those with special educational needs.
If you are committed to working with children to help them achieve their full potential and would like to be part of a friendly team of dedicated staff, amongst happy, responsive children then please complete the attached application forms.
If you can work effectively as part of a team, have the ability to understand and use a variety of teaching and learning strategies for groups and individual students, are able to prepare teaching and learning materials as required, and can work with groups of children to support their learning, under the direction of the class teacher, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
