Job Summary
Dalkeith Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our Practice team as a 6/8 session Salaried GP with view to Partnership if desired. We are a hard working supportive and friendly team currently consisting of 4 Partners, 6 Salaried GP,s, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 Healthcare Assistants, 1 Phlebotomist, in house Pharmacy team and Physiotherapy team and delightful Management and Admin team.
We have an enthusiastic and ongoing commitment to optimising work life balance and are happy to consider flexible working hours. We work in a spacious purpose built Health Centre which is an easy commute against traffic from Edinburgh and Lothians. We have community services within the building- Treatment Room, DN,s, H/V,s Midwifery team based at the Health Centre as well as Mental Health nurse, Wellbeing Service, Podiatry and Physiotherapy.
We have a diverse patient population with a current list size of 10900. We are growing as the population grows in Midlothian. We are Vision/Docman with a dedicated admin team member addressing GP workflow reduction and also daily support from the clinical pharmacists for prescription management.
