This is a fantastic opportunity for a
Sous Chef who wants to be part of a strong kitchen team, working closely alongside an experienced Head Chef to deliver exceptional, seasonal food in a busy and well-regarded gastro pub.
���� The Role
As Sous Chef, you'll be the
Head Chef's right hand, helping to lead the kitchen team and ensuring every service delivers the quality, consistency and standards the pub is known for.
You'll be a hands-on chef who enjoys being involved in everything from preparation and service through to developing dishes and supporting the wider kitchen team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Leading the kitchen team during busy services
- Taking charge of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
- Producing fresh, seasonal and high-quality food
- Maintaining exceptional standards of presentation and consistency
- Supporting menu development and seasonal specials
- Managing preparation, stock levels, ordering and waste
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
- Training, mentoring and motivating junior chefs
- Helping create a positive, professional and energetic kitchen environment

We're looking for an experienced
Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step in their career.
You'll be passionate about
fresh food and quality ingredients, confident leading a team and comfortable working in a busy gastro pub environment.
You'll be someone who:
