Job description:
We’re looking for an experienced Solar Roofer to join our growing team to support our electricians with the installation of solar PV systems. This is a hands-on role that involves working across a variety of properties, ensuring safe and efficient access and mounting of solar panels.
You must be prepared to travel and will be working alongside a qualified electrician, providing essential roofing support including tile/slate removal, flashing installation, and reinstatement of roof finishes post-installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing roofs for solar panel installations
- Supporting the fitting of mounting systems on pitched tiled and slate roofs
- Removing and refitting tiles/slates with precision
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Working collaboratively with electricians and other team members
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment on site
Requirements:
- Proven experience working on both tiled and slate roofs (essential)
- Comfortable working at height and using access equipment
- Strong understanding of roofing safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full clean driving licence
