As a Warehouse Operative, you will facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the Worthing warehouse, including but not limited to; warehouse, HSE policy, inbound & outbound deliveries and dispatches.
You will also optimise process improvements and workflows whilst achieving and maintaining the highest level of procedural efficiency, customer satisfaction and wellbeing.
Responsibilities

Accurately pick items in the warehouse, understand pick lists, layout, shelf location, lot no's, amounts to pick and box quantities

Ensure all orders are dispatched within time parameters on a daily basis.

Understand warehouse layout, locations, top up procedures, and housekeeping requirements for the role.

Pack, check and dispatch goods via ship manager and Script easy systems.

Operate a clear warehouse policy for dispatches

Entering received orders onto the system and distributing to warehouse locations and users.

Maintain the stores to the highest standards, in line with Health & Safety requirements.

Maintain levels and distribution of warehouse held stocks.

Maintain up to date and accurate records of items stored off site

Ensure all top up processes are used. To reduce stock outs on “small” shelves

Ensure adherence to company HSE policy

Attend meetings as required

Ensure a clean and tidy working environment. Operate a clean as you go process to provide a safe working environment.

To assist with quality checking of picked orders

May perform other duties as required.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working in a warehouse environment picking and packing order is essential.

Experience of Outlook, Word and Excel

Knowledge of courier and postal services

May be required to lift heavy boxes/containers, Stand for long periods of time, walking.
Salary range for the role: £25 000 - £26 000 + benefits
