Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency responders.
- Perform regular patrols of the facility to ensure safety protocols are followed and physical security measures are intact.
- Maintain detailed records of security activities, incident reports, and surveillance logs for accountability and review.
- Assist in training new team members on surveillance procedures, emergency response protocols, and loss prevention techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security operations or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras and monitoring software.
- Ability to perform physical patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to incidents.
- Excellent observational skills with an eye for detail to identify suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is highly desirable.
- Good communication skills to effectively report incidents and coordinate with emergency services or team members.
