Our client, a leading processing and manufacturing company are in search of an experienced Maintenance Supervisor or Assistant Maintenance Manager to join their highly reputable company.

Job Duties
· Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
· Apply technical skills and ingenuity to the correction of equipment problems
· Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment
· Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, performance reviews, and by Identifying skill gaps and coordinating training and development.
· Lead and ensure all maintenance activities exceed safety standards and comply with policies and legislation.
· Optimise spare parts inventory ensuring ongoing availability.
· Maintain up-to-date technical and compliance records.
· Oversee external contractors
· Manage weekly rotations, urgent repairs, and daily maintenance to support continuous operations.
· Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any maintenance-related concerns
Experience:
· Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining industrial equipment
· Mechanical relevant Trade qualification, diploma or degree.
· 5+ years supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Excellent troubleshooting ability.
