About the Position
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Steel Shutter Fitter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitting steel shutters within the industrial & commercial sector, fitting of insulated doors and all door types for domestic & commercial sector, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Steel shutter fitting experience would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Installing steel shutters at various sites, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
Conducting site assessments to determine the best approach for installation.
Reading and interpreting written instruction
Maintaining and servicing installed shutters to ensure they operate effectively.
Collaborating with other team members and site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines during installation and maintenance tasks.
Ensuring all tools, equipment and company vehicle are kept in good working order.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as a Steel Shutter Fitter or in a similar role.
Strong mechanical and technical skill
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Leadership skills
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience
A valid full UK driver's license
Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
A can-do attitude
