Families Connected is an independent family contact centre providing safe, child-focused supervised and supported contact, handovers, family support and community-based services.
We work alongside families, local authorities, solicitors, CAFCASS and the Family Courts to promote safe and meaningful relationships between children and their families.
We are committed to safeguarding children, maintaining impartiality and delivering high-quality services in accordance with NACCC standards and best practice.
Referral Management
- Receive and process new referrals from Local Authorities, solicitors, CAFCASS and private clients.
- Review court orders and referral documentation.
- Ensure all required paperwork has been received before contact commences.
- Allocate appropriate supervisors based on the assessed level of risk.
- Arrange pre-contact meetings where required.
Case Coordination
- Coordinate supervised contact, supported contact, community contact and handover sessions.
- Prepare weekly schedules and allocate staff.
- Confirm appointments with all parties.
- Ensure staff receive all relevant documentation before each session.
- Maintain accurate electronic case records.
Safeguarding
- Identify safeguarding concerns from referrals and during ongoing cases.
- Escalate safeguarding concerns promptly to the Registered Manager.
- Complete incident reports where necessary.
- Liaise with professionals regarding safeguarding matters.
- Ensure Families Connected safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
Client Communication
- Act as the main point of contact for parents and professionals.
- Respond to telephone calls and emails professionally.
- Explain Families Connected policies and procedures.
- Manage cancellations, amendments and enquiries.
- Maintain impartial communication with all parties.
Operational Support
- Monitor staff availability and coordinate cover where required.
- Ensure reports are completed within agreed timescales.
- Review reports for quality before submission.
- Support the implementation of policies and procedures.
- Assist with audits and accreditation requirements.
Quality Assurance
- Maintain confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
- Support continuous improvement across the service.
- Promote excellent customer service.
- Assist with staff inductions and ongoing training.
- Uphold Families Connected values and professional standards.
Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
