New Era Scaffolding is looking for an experienced and motivated Charge Hand Scaffolder to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to lead scaffold teams on a variety of commercial and residential projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise scaffold operatives on site.
- Ensure scaffolding is erected, altered, and dismantled safely and efficiently.
- Carry out work in accordance with current health and safety legislation and company procedures.
- Organise daily workloads and maintain productivity.
- Liaise with site managers, supervisors, and clients when required.
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure all work meets industry standards.
Essential Requirements
- CISRS Advanced Scaffolder card.
- Previous experience working as a Charge Hand.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of TG20 and SG4 guidance.
- Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure.
Desirable
- Full UK driving licence.
- COTS, SSSTS, or SMSTS certification (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience on commercial and industrial projects.
