Build a Specialist Referral List Within an Established Private Practice
Kew Dental Care is seeking an experienced Specialist Endodontist or Specialist Periodontist—or a dentist with advanced postgraduate training and a genuine special interest in either discipline—to join our established, fully private practice in the heart of Kew Village.
We currently refer all of our endodontic and periodontal cases externally. Our aim is to bring these services in-house, allowing our patients to receive specialist care from a trusted clinician within the practice while creating a long-term referral service.
This is an excellent opportunity to join with an established internal referral base from our existing clinicians and develop it into a thriving specialist list. There is also scope to grow referrals over time through the practice's reputation and relationships with local referring dentists.
We are open to either specialty and would also welcome applications from clinicians with expertise across both disciplines.
Initially, we are looking for one day per week, with clear scope to increase sessions as the referral base grows.

About You
Essential
- GDC registered with current professional indemnity
- Entry on the GDC Specialist List in Endodontics or Periodontics, or significant postgraduate training (MSc, MClinDent or equivalent) with demonstrable experience in your chosen discipline
- Excellent communication skills with both patients and referring clinicians
- A collaborative approach, working closely with our general dentists and hygiene team
- Enthusiasm for developing and growing a long-term referral service
If You Are an Endodontist
You'll have experience managing complex endodontic cases, including retreatments and challenging anatomy, and be confident working under magnification using contemporary rotary and reciprocating systems, apex locators and rubber dam isolation.
If You Are a Periodontist
You'll have experience providing both non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy, managing peri-implant disease and working collaboratively with hygienists on supportive periodontal care. You'll also enjoy supporting our restorative and implant clinicians with periodontal assessment and treatment planning.
Desirable
- An existing referral network within South West London
- Experience building a referral list
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience
- An interest in clinical discussion, mentoring and practice-based CPD
