You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs and rights of older people and must meet the requirements of the SSSC within regulatory timescales.
You will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
You should have a genuine interest in working with older people and have a proactive, friendly attitude.
Hours of Work: 12 hour shifts - 07:45to 20.00 day shift including weekends.
Qualifications and Experience: Preferably an SVQ2 Health and Social Care or equivalent or working towards this. Relevant, proven experience working in residential or nursing care home setting is essential.
Reporting to: Senior Carer /Manager
Salary: £13.70per hour
