Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of cocktails and beverages in a lively bar environment. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred, along with a strong focus on food safety and customer service.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly
- Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout the shift
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special offers or events
- Monitor guest behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to licensing laws
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area at the start and end of shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments, preferably within a restaurant or bar setting
- Excellent knowledge of cocktail recipes, serving techniques, and food safety standards
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
