Experienced Hairdresser / Hair Loss Consultant
An exciting opportunity for an experienced hairdresser looking for a rewarding new direction in their career.
Mandeville London is a long-established specialist hair loss company, providing beautiful bespoke wigs and hairpieces for women experiencing hair loss for a variety of reasons, including alopecia and medical treatment.
We are looking for an experienced and confident hairdresser to join our small, friendly team in West London.
Previous experience with wigs or hairpieces is not essential, as full specialist training will be provided. We are particularly interested in finding someone with excellent hairdressing skills, a good eye for colour and style, and, above all, a warm and empathetic manner.
Our consultations are very personal and we often meet clients at a difficult or vulnerable time in their lives. The right person will enjoy building relationships with clients and helping them to feel comfortable, confident and themselves again.
The role will include
- One-to-one consultations with new and existing clients Helping clients choose the right style, colour and hairpiece for them Cutting, styling and finishing wigs and hairpieces Providing ongoing aftercare and support Developing specialist knowledge of bespoke wigs and hairpieces through our training Working closely with our experienced team to provide an exceptional and highly personal service
About you
You will ideally be:
- An experienced and accomplished hairdresser Confident cutting and styling women’s hair Warm, compassionate and an excellent listener Comfortable working one-to-one with clients Professional, reliable and personable Interested in developing a new specialist skill and building a long-term career with us
This is a very different environment from a traditional salon and can be an incredibly rewarding way to use your hairdressing skills.
Hours: Full time preferred, although part time may be considered for the right candidate.
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.
