Bognor Regis Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy providing high-quality patient-centred care to our local community. We are looking for an enthusiastic dispenser to join our friendly and professional team.
The ideal candidate would hold a level 2 or 3 qualification in dispensing however we will consider applications from candidates who have experience in dispensing but who are yet to complete a formal training programme.
Training opportunities will be provided if not already in possession e.g. vaccination training and accuracy checking.
This is a customer facing role so you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be a good team player, basic IT skills are also essential.
Responsibilities
- Customer service - advising on the safe and effective use of medicines
- Dispensing prescriptions
- Stock management
- Assisting with blister pack and care home services
- Assisting with pharmacy services e.g. blood pressure checks, smoking cessation and flu vaccinations
- Answering queries on the telephone and email
- General pharmacy administrative duties e.g claiming for services and invoicing
- General Housekeeping
This could be a full or part-time position, hours of work can be discussed with the manager at interview but will include some Saturdays (9am - 1pm).
Pay: £12.71-£15.25 per hour
