Lynx Taxis is a growing private hire and transport provider serving South Manchester and Cheshire. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable, professional, and customer-focused transport solutions to both individual and corporate clients.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for an ambitious and motivated Business Development Manager to help grow our customer base, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building relationships and generating new business. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new corporate accounts while maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers.
The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing revenue, promoting Lynx Taxis' services, and ensuring our customers receive outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Visit local businesses and organisations to promote Lynx Taxis' services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate account customers.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and local business engagement.
- Conduct sales presentations and meetings with prospective clients.
- Work closely with management to achieve growth targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions.
- Represent Lynx Taxis professionally within the local community.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in business development, sales, account management, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Professional and well-presented.
Preferred
- Own vehicle for business travel.
- Experience within transport, logistics, hospitality, or service industries.
- Existing local business contacts within South Manchester and Cheshire.
