Site Security Supervisor (Monday – Friday, 60 Hours per Week)
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Security Supervisor to join Bidvest Noonan at a prestigious client site. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 60 hours per week, leading the on-site security team and ensuring the highest standards of security, safety and customer service are maintained at all times.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of security operations, supervising Security Officers, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring all site security procedures are followed effectively. This role would suit an experienced security professional with strong leadership skills, a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the site security team, ensuring all duties are carried out professionally and effectively.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client regarding all security-related matters.

- Ensure the safety and security of the client’s premises, assets, employees and visitors.
- Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the site.
- Manage and monitor access control procedures, ensuring only authorised personnel gain entry.
- Oversee CCTV operations and ensure incidents are recorded and investigated appropriately.
- Coordinate responses to emergencies, security incidents, fire alarms and other site-related events.
- Ensure all incidents, accidents and near misses are accurately recorded and reported.
- Complete site audits, inspections and compliance checks.
- Produce and maintain accurate records, including occurrence books, incident reports and staff attendance records.
- Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks for security personnel.
- Manage staff performance, attendance, appearance and conduct in line with company standards.
- Support the recruitment, training and development of security officers.
- Ensure all officers comply with SIA regulations, company policies and client procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with management, clients and site personnel.
- Identify and report security risks, vulnerabilities and opportunities for service improvement.
- Provide First Aid response where required.
- Assist with staff scheduling and operational planning to ensure adequate site coverage at all times.
Essential Criteria
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence or Security Guarding Licence.
- Previous experience in a Security Supervisor, Team Leader or similar security management role.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Good report-writing and administrative skills.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and security reporting systems.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage site operations effectively.
Desirable Criteria
- CCTV Licence.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Experience managing security teams within corporate, commercial, logistics, manufacturing or public sector environments.
- Experience liaising directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of security risk assessments and incident investigations.
