Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Supervisor to oversee operations during weekend shifts at our hospitality venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a passion for delivering exceptional guest services, and experience within the hospitality industry. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate weekend staff to ensure high standards of guest service are maintained
- Oversee daily operations, including reservations, check-ins, and guest inquiries
- Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a positive and professional work environment
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in training new staff members and conducting performance evaluations
- Monitor cleanliness and presentation of the venue to uphold brand standards
- Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and promotional activities
Experience
- Proven management experience within the hospitality or customer service sector
- Strong understanding of guest services principles and best practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Previous experience working weekends or unsociable hours is desirable but not essential
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills in British English
