Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and review of legal documents related to residential property transactions, including contracts, transfer deeds, and SDLT forms
- Conduct property searches, land registry checks, and title investigations to verify ownership details and identify potential issues
- Manage case files efficiently using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to track progress and deadlines
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other parties to gather information and provide updates on case status
- Support solicitors in drafting correspondence, completing forms, and maintaining accurate records of all transaction activities
- Coordinate the exchange of contracts and completion processes while adhering to strict timelines
- Organize and prioritize workload effectively through excellent time management and organizational skills
Skills
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey information and liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document preparation, data management, and correspondence
- Knowledge of IT systems relevant to legal case management and document storage
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines consistently while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluency in English with clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with residential conveyancing procedures and legal terminology is a plus but not essential; training will be provided
