SERVICE MANAGER

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable, organised and customer-focused Service Advisor / Service Manager to play a key role in the successful day-to-day running of our service department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced automotive environment, dealing with customers, coordinating workshop activity and helping a service team perform at its best.
You will be responsible for ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient experience from the moment they make an enquiry through to the completion of their vehicle repairs or servicing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer enquiries, bookings and service requirements
- Keeping customers updated throughout the repair or servicing process
- Coordinating daily workshop activity and helping maintain an efficient workflow
- Preparing estimates, invoices and service documentation
- Liaising closely with technicians and other departments
- Handling customer concerns professionally and working towards quick resolutions
- Monitoring service quality and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Supporting and motivating the service team to maintain high standards
- Ensuring company procedures and health & safety standards are followed
We are looking for someone who can combine excellent customer service with strong organisation and good automotive knowledge.
You should be confident dealing with customers, comfortable managing several jobs at once and able to remain organised in a busy environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience within an automotive service, aftersales or workshop environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good general mechanical or automotive knowledge
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- The confidence to deal with customer enquiries and complaints professionally
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience would be advantageous
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take responsibility
