We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Salon Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our busy salon. Duties
- Lead and supervise the salon team, including stylists, receptionists, and support staff, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.
- Manage appointment scheduling, customer consultations, and service delivery to guarantee client satisfaction.
- Oversee retail sales, merchandising displays, and product promotions to maximise revenue.
- Implement organisational policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
- Train and develop staff members on customer service excellence, technical skills, and product knowledge.
- Handle administrative tasks such as stock control, payroll processing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming salon environment adhering to health and safety standards.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through personalised service and effective communication.
- Manage marketing initiatives to attract new clients whilst retaining existing clientele.
- Monitor sales targets and prepare reports on business performance for senior management.
Experience
- Proven management experience within a salon or retail environment, with a focus on team supervision and sales management.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working atmosphere.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse clientele.
- Experience in merchandising, retail management, and promotional activities is desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in administrative duties including stock control, scheduling software utilisation, and record keeping.
- Knowledge of the latest hairdressing trends, products, and industry standards is preferred but not essential. Pay: £29,420.00-£42,803.06 per year
