Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Operator to join our production team. You will assist with the manufacture of gummies, oils, vape cartridges and chocolate products, ensuring that every batch is produced accurately, safely and consistently.
The role involves preparing ingredients, operating production and filling equipment, following approved recipes and batch instructions, completing quality checks, packaging finished products and maintaining a clean production environment. Responsibilities
- Manufacture gummies, oils, vape cartridges and chocolate products according to approved recipes, batch sheets and production procedures.
- Accurately weigh, measure and prepare ingredients and raw materials.
- Operate mixing, heating, depositing, filling and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with gummy depositing, oil bottling, vape-cartridge filling and chocolate moulding or tempering.
- Monitor temperatures, mixing times, fill levels and other important production measurements.
- Conduct quality checks throughout production, including product appearance, consistency, weight, fill level and packaging condition.
- Identify and report issues such as leaking cartridges, incorrect fill weights, damaged packaging or product inconsistencies.
- Accurately complete batch records, production logs and traceability documentation.
- Package, label and prepare finished products according to company specifications.
- Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils and production areas between batches.
- Follow all hygiene, health and safety, PPE and quality-control procedures.
- Assist with stock management by monitoring ingredients, packaging materials and finished products.
- Work closely with other team members to meet daily production targets and improve manufacturing processes.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in food, supplement, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or vape-product manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Confidence using weighing scales, temperature controls, filling equipment and basic production machinery.
- Good understanding of hygiene, cleanliness and contamination prevention.
- Ability to complete production records clearly and accurately.
- Comfortable carrying out repetitive, hands-on tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
- Basic mechanical ability and confidence troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
- Good organisation and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A reliable, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift or move production materials when required.
Pay: £14.50-£16.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
