ard Sales Person – Milton Garden Products, Blythe
£13.33 per hour | £27,726 basic (40 hours) | Up to £32,000 with overtime | Full-time, permanent
Milton Garden Products is a family-run landscaping and building materials business, and we're looking for a Yard Sales Person to join the team at our Blythe branch.
This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of the branch — one minute you'll be loading a customer in the yard, the next serving on the counter or taking an order over the phone. If you like being on your feet, working with your hands, and dealing with people face to face, this is the job for you.
What you'll be doing:
- Serving trade and retail customers in the yard and on the counter — advising on products, processing orders, and making sure everyone leaves happy
- Handling incoming telephone calls, taking orders and enquiries
- Operating a forklift to load and unload deliveries and customer vehicles
- Keeping the yard tidy, safe, and well stocked
- Assisting with goods in, stock checks, and general branch duties
What we're looking for:
- A valid FLT (counterbalance) licence
- Confident manual handling — this is a physical role
- Great customer service skills, in person and on the phone
- Reliability, a friendly can-do attitude, and a good eye for safety
Hours and pay:
- Minimum 40-hour contract, working shifts on a rota across our opening hours: Monday to Friday 7am–5pm and Saturday 7am–1pm
- £13.33 per hour — £27,726 basic salary, with regular overtime available taking earnings up to £32,000 per year
