We are recruiting to a pivotal leadership role within our new Expert Court Assessment Service (ECAS) — a flagship model designed to improve court outcomes and reduce delay for children and families.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a new specialist service from the ground up, shaping practice, performance and system-wide impact.
About the Role
As ECAS Team Manager, you will provide operational leadership, quality assurance and performance oversight of the service.
You will:
Lead delivery of high-quality, court-ready assessments within statutory timescales
Drive a robust quality assurance and performance framework
Provide professional supervision and workforce development
Build strong relationships with Legal Services, judiciary and partners
Shape the strategic development and credibility of the ECAS model
Special requirements for this post
We welcome applications from qualified and experienced candidates. You will need to have a Social Work. You will need to hold a current SW England registration.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including an Enhanced Children’s Department of Barring Services check.
