This is a varied and multi-skilled role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with customers, helping to solve practical challenges, provide technical guidance, and support the quotation and order process across a wide range of UK projects.
Some enquiries will require a quick turnaround, while others will involve building long-term relationships with customers and supporting projects from initial enquiry through to completion. This role sits at the heart of the business, where technical expertise meets exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Providing technical information and guidance to customers.
- Assisting customers with product selection and practical solutions.
- Preparing and processing quotations accurately and efficiently.
- Following up quotations and supporting the sales process.
- Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records.
- Building and developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Supporting projects from enquiry stage through to order completion.
- Maintaining customer information within CRM and business systems.
- Assisting with sales reporting and administrative tasks.
- Identifying opportunities to support business growth and customer retention.
- Delivering excellent customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
Skills & Experience
