Duties
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food preparation and presentation in line with safety standards
- Serve food and beverages accurately and promptly, upselling where appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle guest requests professionally, addressing any concerns or special requirements
- Support with stock replenishment and inventory checks as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by demonstrating excellent guest services skills
Experience
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Experience in serving or customer service roles will be beneficial in delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary environments is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods and prioritise tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately and managing orders
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for guest interactions and teamwork
