About the Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and organised TCG Inventory & Product Assistant to join our team at Total Cards.
This is a hands-on role focused on turning incoming trading card stock into accurate, organised and sale-ready products across our website and other sales channels.
The role requires a strong knowledge of trading card games and individual cards, combined with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work confidently with large amounts of product and inventory data.
You will be responsible for adding new products to the site, maintaining existing listings, processing single-card inventory, checking pricing, preparing bulk card submissions and developing mystery products from available stock.
This is an ideal role for someone who already has a strong interest in trading card games and enjoys working with cards, products, inventory and ecommerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Process completed customer card submissions into saleable inventory.
- Add individual trading cards to the website accurately.
- Identify cards, sets, variants, rarities and other relevant product information.
- Upload and manage CSV files containing new single-card inventory.
- Ensure card quantities and product information are correctly recorded.
- Check existing products before creating duplicates.
- Maintain accurate inventory across the singles catalogue.
Product Creation & Catalogue Management
- Create new product listings for trading cards and other new products.
- Update and maintain existing website products.
- Ensure product titles, descriptions, variants, categories and other information are accurate.
- Add newly delivered products to the website.
- Prepare upcoming product releases for sale ahead of launch.
- Review existing listings and correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Ensure products are organised correctly within the website catalogue.
Pricing & Product Verification
- Check current market pricing when adding or updating products.
- Review existing prices where required.
- Identify incorrectly priced or incorrectly listed products.
- Ensure products are accurately identified before being made available for sale.
- Assist with maintaining commercially appropriate pricing across our inventory.
Mystery Product Creation
- Use available single-card inventory to create mystery products for sale.
- Select suitable cards and products based on the requirements of each mystery product.
- Build product mixes while considering value, variety and customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of stock allocated to mystery products.
- Help develop new mystery product concepts using available inventory.
Bulk Card Organisation
- Sort and organise incoming bulk trading card submissions.
- Prepare cards for identification, processing and upload.
- Separate cards by game, set, rarity, value or other required categories.
- Identify cards which require further investigation or individual listing.
- Maintain an organised workflow so large submissions can be processed efficiently.
Stock & Inventory Management
- Assist with regular stock checks and inventory verification.
- Investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system inventory.
- Ensure processed cards and products are stored correctly.
- Help maintain an organised inventory system.
- Identify stock which could be better utilised, repriced, relisted or converted into alternative products.
What We're Looking For
The most important requirement for this position is strong trading card knowledge.
You should be comfortable recognising cards, understanding different sets and products, and navigating the terminology used within the TCG industry.
Ideally, you will have knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Pokémon
- Yu-Gi-Oh!
- Magic: The Gathering
- One Piece Card Game
- Disney Lorcana
- Other major trading card games
You do not need to know every card from every game, but you should be comfortable researching products and identifying cards accurately when required.
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge and genuine interest in trading card games.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working with large amounts of inventory.
- Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets and ecommerce systems.
- Ability to identify and research trading cards accurately.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a workload.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
- Commercial awareness when reviewing products and pricing.
Formal ecommerce experience is not essential if you have strong TCG knowledge and are confident learning new systems.

Pay: £24,784.50-£28,000.00 per year
