Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our team, providing high-quality cleaning services to our valued clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within residential and commercial properties, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with flexible hours, supporting clients' needs for a tidy and comfortable space. Prior experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure bathrooms and kitchens are hygienic and well-maintained, including cleaning appliances and fixtures.
- Organise and restock cleaning supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organising linens or clothing when required.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property, paying close attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements and preferences.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Occasionally assist with basic cooking or meal preparation tasks if required by clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Experience in customer service roles is advantageous, demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication skills.
- Skills in cooking or food preparation are a plus but not mandatory.
- A strong work ethic with organisational skills and attention to detail is essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
