We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various residential and commercial properties. This role offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing exceptional cleaning services. Prior experience in cleaning environments is advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial premises, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Handle specialised cleaning tasks such as window washing, carpet cleaning, or deep cleaning upon request
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning tasks
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial roles, or hospital environments is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company policies
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
