We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Handling materials efficiently and safely across various stages of the warehouse process
- Managing shipping and receiving operations, including checking deliveries and preparing outgoing orders
- Utilising warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update stock records accurately
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch with precision and attention to detail
- Stocking shelves and organising storage areas to optimise space utilisation
- Conducting quality control inspections to ensure products meet company standards
- Assisting with load and unload activities, ensuring goods are moved securely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
Experience
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is highly desirable
- Practical understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, picking & packing processes, and stock management
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy in stock control and quality checks
