Job Opportunity: Wedding Event Staff / Bartender
Woodstock Wedding and Events are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events throughout our calendar.
Woodstock is a stunning wedding and events venue situated 12 minutes from York city centre. We cater for any type of function from small intimate weddings to corporate events with guest happiness and satisfaction always our top priority. Woodstock is a privately owned wedding venue so aims to recruit creative and personable staff to join our team.
As an integral part of our operations, you will help ensure that each event runs smoothly and efficiently, delivering memorable experiences for wedding couples and their guests. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Duties
- Assist in the setup and preparation of venue including arranging furniture and equipment as required.
- Greet guests upon arrival, providing them with a positive welcome to the event.
- Monitor the event area to ensure cleanliness and organisation throughout the duration of the event.
- Deliver efficient drink/bar service, ensuring that all guests are attended to promptly.
- Assist in cleaning and breakdown of the venue space after the completion of events.
About You:
- You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
- You will have strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems as they arise.
- You may have previous experience in hospitality or events, but your personality and enthusiasm is most important.
- You will need to be flexible to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
