Salary: £15.55 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week

We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at Johnnie Walker in the heart of Edinburgh. In this role, you'll help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for colleagues, visitors and customers while delivering excellent customer service at all times.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Sodexo and play a key role in protecting people, property and assets within a prestigious client site.
What you'll do

Provide a visible security presence across the site.

Monitor access and egress, ensuring authorised entry only.

Carry out regular patrols of the premises.

Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.

Complete accurate incident reports and security documentation.

Operate security systems including CCTV where appropriate.

Deliver outstanding customer service to colleagues, visitors and contractors.

Follow all site security procedures and health & safety policies.
What you'll bring

A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (essential).

CCTV SIA licence (desirable).

Previous security experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A calm and professional approach under pressure.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Willingness to undergo Security Vetting and Disclosure checks.
