Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional tandoori dishes, including marinated meats, vegetables, and bread, using specialized tandoor ovens.
- Supervise food production processes to maintain high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation techniques and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen activities.
- Oversee inventory management for spices, ingredients, and supplies specific to tandoori cuisine.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items that highlight authentic flavors while meeting customer preferences.
- Serve as a role model in hospitality by engaging positively with team members and ensuring excellent service delivery.
Experience
- Proven culinary experience in Indian or South Asian cuisine, particularly with tandoori cooking methods.
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards applicable to professional kitchens.
- Experience working in a restaurant setting with an emphasis on customer service and serving guests.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as tandoor ovens, grills, and other culinary tools used in authentic Indian cuisine.
