Overview
DOORMAN SECURITY SERVICES is seeking an experienced and highly professional Clubhouse Security Officer for a prestigious private members’ club in the Denham and Uxbridge area.
This is a suit-based, customer-facing security position requiring excellent communication skills, sound judgement and an exceptionally professional standard of presentation.
The role is primarily based inside the clubhouse and includes CCTV monitoring, access control, responding to members’ and client requests, loss prevention and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will also conduct internal patrols and coordinate the activities of the K9 security officers operating across the wider site.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV systems and identify suspicious activity, safety concerns or security breaches.
- Control access and ensure that only authorised members, staff, contractors and visitors enter restricted areas.
- Provide a professional, discreet and courteous security presence within the clubhouse.
- Respond promptly and calmly to requests from members, staff and the client.
- Carry out routine internal patrols and security inspections.
- Perform loss-prevention duties and help prevent theft, vandalism and unauthorised access.
- Coordinate and supervise the K9 security officers working across the site.
- Monitor and verify that scheduled K9 patrols have been completed correctly.
- Maintain effective radio communication with the wider security team.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and contact the police or other emergency services when required.
- Provide first aid within the limits of your training and certification.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs, patrol records and incident reports.
- Report security, safety and operational concerns to management.
Essential requirements
Applicants must have:
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
- A valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) licence.
- A current Level 3 First Aid at Work certificate as a minimum.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A recent Basic DBS certificate.
- A willingness to undergo full BS7858 security screening and vetting.
- A minimum of two years’ verifiable experience working in a similar security, clubhouse, private members’ club, concierge or customer-facing security role.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence using computers, CCTV systems and security radios.
- The ability to coordinate and provide clear instructions to other security personnel.
- A calm, responsible and professional approach to incidents and emergencies.
- A smart and immaculate professional appearance suitable for a prestigious private members’ club.
- Sufficient fitness and mobility to conduct patrols and respond safely to incidents.
- A detailed CV showing a complete employment history and verifiable professional references.
Any offer of work and subsequent engagement will be strictly subject to the satisfactory completion of BS7858 screening and vetting, verification of all licences and certificates, and confirmation of the applicant’s DBS status.
Desirable qualifications and experience
The following would be advantageous:
- FREC 3 certification.
- A valid SIA Close Protection licence.
- Previous experience in a private members’ club, luxury hospitality venue, clubhouse, concierge or similar high-standard environment.
- Previous team-leading or supervisory security experience.
- Experience coordinating K9 security officers or mobile patrol teams.
- Experience using incident-reporting and patrol-monitoring systems.
- Your own reliable transport.
Location and travel
The site is located in the Denham/Uxbridge area and has limited public transport connections. Applicants are strongly advised to consider their travel arrangements carefully before applying.
Having your own transport is preferable. Free secure on-site parking is available.
Dress code
This is a formal, suit-based security position. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an immaculate and professional appearance throughout every shift.

Pay: £39,900.00-£50,000.00 per year
