White Elm Garden Centre is looking for a Garden Centre Till Assistant to join our family run business to work Saturdays and Wednesdays. The position may also require working in different departments of the business. Additional days available for holiday cover.
Main Duties
- Operating the till system
- Assisting customers with queries
- Labeling and pricing
- Restocking shelves
Experience
- Passion and interest for plants
- Horticultural experience is preferable but not essential, whether that’s in the form of a relevant qualification and/or experience of working in a garden centre, plant retail or a similar environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Self motivated to work on own
- Great customer service skills
- Able to carry out physical tasks such as lifting and pushing trolleys
