Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am–1:00pm when required

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an organised and reliable Weighbridge Operator to join their busy processing operation in Bourne.
This is a varied role combining weighbridge operations, administration and site coordination. You will be responsible for accurately processing vehicles and materials entering and leaving site, maintaining records, supporting drivers and visitors, and ensuring all relevant paperwork and systems are kept up to date.
Full training will be provided, including in-house training and opportunities for further development.
- Accurately weigh vehicles entering and leaving site and ensure all details and paperwork are correct.

Process customer tickets and update the FRED weighbridge system.

Scan tickets and maintain accurate electronic records.

Check pre-dispatch payments before loading.

Send weighbridge tickets, loading photographs and load lists to export customers.

Provide load lists to relevant site staff.

Track metal shed weights and maintain non-ferrous spreadsheets.

Induct drivers and ensure visitors are correctly signed in and inducted.

Track outbound waste.

Record transport jobs and maintain site transport boards.

Complete general office administration, including filing and telephone duties.

Assist with small projects designed to monitor and improve site operations.

Carry out other reasonable duties in line with the needs of the business.
The successful candidate will be organised, reliable and confident working in both an office and operational site environment.

Confidence communicating with drivers, customers and site personnel.

Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.

A strong commitment to health, safety and site procedures.
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

WAMITAB Level 2 or Level 4.

IOSH Managing Safely.

Mobile plant / FLT experience.

First Aid qualification.

Fire Marshal training.
