Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Composite Laminator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality composite components by laminating layers of fiberglass, carbon fiber, or other materials according to precise specifications. Responsibilities
- Prepare composite materials by cutting, measuring, and organizing raw materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Lay up fiberglass, carbon fiber, or other composite fabrics onto molds with accuracy and consistency.
- Apply resins and adhesives to bonded layers following detailed instructions to ensure proper curing and bonding.
- Use fabrication techniques to trim, sand, and finish laminated parts for optimal surface quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Conduct inspections of finished laminates for defects or inconsistencies before final assembly or shipment.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Previous warehouse experience or background in manufacturing environments preferred but not essential.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
