The Role
We’re looking for someone with a big personality and natural presence who can own the floor and create a great atmosphere for customers.
This role includes:
- Greeting and serving customers
- Explaining the menu, making recommendations, taking orders and running food
- Making cocktails, pouring pints, and handling drinks service confidently
- Talking to customers and creating a personal, welcoming experience
- Keeping the restaurant clean, organised, and running smoothly throughout service
You’ll be a key part of the customer experience from start to finish.

Hospitality
- Makes customers feel welcome and looked after
- Builds rapport naturally - not robotic or scripted
- Understands the difference between service and genuine hospitality
Drinks & Bar Confidence
- Comfortable pouring pints correctly
- Able to make cocktails (or willing to learn quickly)
- Basic drinks knowledge and confidence behind the bar
Attention to Detail
- Notices what needs doing without being told, uses initiative
- Keeps the space looking clean and presentable at all times
- Takes pride in how the restaurant looks and feels
Work Ethic
- Proactive - doesn’t wait to be told
- Handles pressure during busy periods
- Works as part of a team
Standards
Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented environment is a core part of the role.
You’ll be expected to clean as you go, stay on top of the floor and bar during service, and contribute to daily and routine cleaning standards.

Requirements
- Previous hospitality or bar experience preferred
- Confident with customers and communication
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

- You prefer to stay quiet or avoid customer interaction
- You wait to be told what to do
- You’re not comfortable behind a bar
- You don’t take pride in standards and presentation
