We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You will support senior team members in delivering projects on time and within budget while developing your professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
· Preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
· Monitor project costs and highlight cost-saving opportunities
· Prepare interim valuations and agree final accounts
· Attend site visits and project meetings
· Procurement, including managing contracts, subcontractor quotations, and payments
· Assess and process variations and change orders
· Maintain clear and professional communication with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
· Build and maintain good relationships with stakeholders
· Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Qualifications, Experience and Requirements
· Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
· Previous experience in the construction industry is essential
· Knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT or NEC) would be advantageous
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate level), is essential
· Working knowledge of Bluebeam would be advantageous
· Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy
· Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop

The Rewards and benefits
· 40-hour working week (Monday to Friday), typically 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with flexibility to meet project demands
· Competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
· 21 days’ annual leave (pro rata), plus 8 bank holidays
