Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Norwood House in the GB area. This vital role involves supporting our elderly residents with compassion and professionalism, ensuring their well-being aligns with our core values of respect and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care to elderly residents, including those with dementia.
- Assist in developing and implementing individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Support and supervise junior staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and resident progress.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of residents at all times.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful community within the home.
- Support the management team in daily operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications Proven experience in senior or residential care environments.
- Strong leadership and supervising skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans.
- Valid driving license is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of IT systems relevant to care documentation is advantageous.
- Compassionate attitude towards elderly residents.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
