Due to an increase in workloads Veny are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Build Manager based out of our head office in Haslingden.
Duties:
- Client manager for Electrical works, first point of contact for clients maintaining a good healthy relationship, attending client calls and keeping them updated on progress
- Plan and coordinate a project from start to finish, including organising the schedule of work, requisition sheets and budget.
- Producing job specific RAMS and POW’s.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring progress.
- Manage the Electrical coordinator & Site teams to ensure smooth delivery of installs.
- Responsible for early warning process is administered working closely with clients.
- Liaise with client to resolve site issues which may cause delays or additional costs and submit and agree any variations needed to cover any additional works.
- Manage & monitor poor performance within the Electrical team.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Recognising business opportunities.
- Monitoring/approving weekly timesheets, expenses and holiday requests
- Approving sub-contractor, material/plant invoices and querying if/when needed.
- Attend pre-start meetings on site as and when required.
- Support the electrical teams with any technical or general issues whilst on site
- Approve HOPs & Certs.
- Carry out & record regular toolbox talks
Qualifications & Training
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- ECS Gold Card or Managers Card
- 2391 testing and inspection

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
