Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a similar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers efficiently and courteously
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or electronic payments with basic maths skills
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping surfaces and restocking supplies regularly
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and uphold safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths competence for handling transactions accurately
- Experience working in a restaurant or bar setting will be considered an advantage
