British Isles DBT Training is the leading provider of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy training across the UK and Ireland, with worldwide connections and an international reputation for quality. We are a small but dynamic company with some big campaigns coming up, and we are looking for a Head of Marketing & Communications who can match our energy. Your vision will help shape our brand, drive our digital profile, and magnetise national attention to our new projects.
We want a marketing mind strategic enough to set the direction, and hands‑on enough to deliver it. You’ll lead our advertising intelligence, whether it’s day‑to‑day visibility for the core business or creating a thirst for our new products in markets we’ve never reached before. About the Role
You will lead on marketing strategy while also producing high‑quality, practical creative work that strengthens our brand and increases our reach across the mental health, education, and professional training sectors.
You’ll oversee the marketing direction of the business as a whole, while taking ownership of specific projects, from product launches to digital campaigns to brand development. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to position British Isles DBT Training as the go‑to provider for evidence‑based, performance‑focused training.
This role blends strategy, creativity, leadership, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Shape and oversee the long‑term marketing strategy for British Isles DBT Training
· Identify opportunities for brand growth, new audiences, and product expansion
· Provide strategic insight and to senior leadership on trends, risks, and opportunities
· Lead the marketing approach for new projects
· Meet KPI’s for online sales
Digital & Creative Delivery:
· Lead our social media presence with vision and quality control of content
· Create compelling digital assets including flyers, brochures, web content, and promotional materials
· Produce short‑form promotional videos for campaigns, product launches, and events
· Manage and optimise website content to improve user experience and conversions
· Ensure consistent tone of voice and visual identity across all channels
Product Launch & Campaign Management:
· Add creative input and strategic intelligence to our new campaigns.
· Plan and execute targeted launches of new training products and services
· Head up multi‑channel campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and sales
· Use data and analytics to measure performance and refine future activity
· Support enterprise‑focused messaging and lead‑generation activity, especially on LinkedIn
Collaboration & Oversight
· Work closely with internal teams, trainers, and external partners (*we are also recruiting a content creator and have data analysis experts on our team with whom you will collaborate)
· Provide leadership, direction, and creative guidance across marketing projects
· Manage outsourced specialists (design, video editing, paid ads)
· Manage budgets and ensure strong ROI across campaigns

Experience & Skills
Essential
· 5+ years in marketing, communications, or brand leadership
· Proven experience developing and delivering marketing strategy
· Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
· Experience with LinkedIn marketing and B2B lead generation
· Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, commercial messaging
· Comfortable producing simple graphics and short‑form video content
Desirable
· Experience in mental health, education, training, or professional services
· Familiarity with CRM systems, automation tools, and analytics platforms
· Experience managing freelancers or agencies

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
