Duties

- Cook a variety of menu items, ensuring proper cooking techniques and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment regularly
- Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support meal service by plating dishes efficiently and serving customers or guests as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying supervisors when stock needs replenishing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals during busy periods
Experience
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper hygiene procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
- Experience in meal preparation for large groups or in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Ability to follow recipes accurately, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain attention to detail
- Serving experience or familiarity with customer service in a food environment is a plus
