Early Years Practitioner | Peterborough (PE2 8FF)
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week across 4 days
Pay: £12.71 – £13.00 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Are you committed to giving children the best possible start in life? We’re looking for a motivated and nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join our supportive nursery team in Peterborough.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating setting for children
- Planning and delivering activities in line with the EYFS and children’s interests
- Acting as a key person, building strong relationships with children and families
- Supporting team members and contributing to a positive team culture
- Observing and tracking children’s development to support future planning
- Working closely with senior staff to maintain high-quality standards
- Following all safeguarding, health, and safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years/Childcare (e.g. CACHE, NVQ)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
- A caring and patient approach with strong teamwork and communication skills
- DBS, Paediatric First Aid, and Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)

Working pattern: Shifts usually fall between 08:00–16:00 or 09:00–17:00 across 3 or 4 days per week, with some flexibility required.
