Darsons Services Ltd A Leading Facilities Support Company is seeking a dedicated and physically capable individual to join our team as a Permanent, Full-Time Grounds Maintenance Operative. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of exterior spaces across our multiple client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, strimming, and cultivating lawns and beds.
- Undertake pruning, trimming, and shaping of hedges, shrubs, and small trees.
- Safely operate and maintain a variety of manual and powered groundskeeping equipment and tools.
- Execute soft landscaping duties such as planting, mulching, and weeding.
- Maintain cleanliness of grounds by removing litter and debris.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team while traveling between different sites.
Essential Requirements:
- Must possess a full, valid driving license and be capable of operating a company van.
- Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively operate power tools relevant to grounds maintenance.
- Physical fitness to perform duties outdoors in all weather conditions, which may involve frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in a grounds maintenance or landscaping role is preferred, but comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided for highly motivated candidates.
Compensation & Application:
- Hourly Rate: £13.00 to £15.00 per hour.
