Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store pharmaceutical supplies and medications in accordance with safety standards and storage protocols
- Prepare medication orders for dispensing and over-the-counter sales ensuring correct labelling and documentation for patient use
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks, tracking expiration dates, and replenishing supplies as needed
- Support medication administration processes by organizing supplies for healthcare professionals and ensuring proper handling procedures are followed
- Maintain precise records of medication movements, inventory levels, and storage conditions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to streamline warehouse operations and improve workflow efficiency
- Uphold safety standards by adhering to proper handling procedures for hazardous materials and reporting any discrepancies or issues promptly
Qualifications
- Proven wholesales distribution of medicines and relevant warehouse experience within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medication storage requirements, handling procedures, and inventory management systems
- Ability to accurately prepare medication orders and maintain detailed documentation
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with patient care processes related to medication distribution is a plus
